In relation to the lyrics, Song Min Ho explained, “Most people live in situations where they aren’t allowed to expose their feelings of sadness, hurt, and the like. So this is a message that anyone can relate to. However, we also tried to encompass the kinds of emotions that tend to jut out in the briefest of moments.”

 

Kang Seung Yoon noted, “There are instances when you’re going through a rough time but you tell everyone that you’re ‘fine’ or ‘so-so’. Or there are even times when the comfort you receive from people around you can feel even more burdensome. We wanted to allude to these sorts of emotions in our songs, framed within the context of a breakup.”

 

He continued, saying, “The lyrics show a consistent coolness, being alright, and acting tough, but the arrangement of the songs and its flow is the complete opposite of that, showing a hurt that’s beneath the exterior of acting tough.”
