Song Min Ho has revealed the complete track list of his first official solo album, which contains 12 songs, all of which he self-wrote, composed, and produced.

The tracklist is jam-packed with 12 tracks: the title song, ‘FIANCÉ’, followed by ‘TRIGGER’, ‘HOPE’, ‘O2’, ‘ROCKET’, ‘UM…’, ‘LONELY’, ‘AURORA’, ‘her’, ‘AGREE’, ‘BOW-WOW’, and ‘ALARM’.

 

In particular, the title track, ‘FIANCÉ’, is a strong and trendy song which falls in the hip-hop genre, but which samples ’Soyang River Maiden’, the trot song that much of the general public is the most familiar with. This combination is set to have an unexpected charm to it.

 

The uniqueness of the featurings catches the eye. It is rumored that the third track, ‘HOPE’, which features Yoo Byung Jae, shows off a perfect harmony between the two. ‘UM…’ features YGX’s rising star Blue.D, who’s voice matched well with the vibe of the song to produce a satisfactory product. The eleventh track, ‘BOW-WOW’, features YDG. Song Min Ho had been a fan of YDG since he was a kid, and the collaboration had him more focused on the production than ever.

On this, Song Min Ho said that, “Mr. Yang told me at the beginning of the year to start preparing for a solo album,” and “After that day, for two months, aside from the time I was sleeping, I spent all my time in my personal studio to work on the songs,” revealing the passion he had poured into this solo album.

 

Talented producers like KANG UK JIN, FUTURE BOUNCE, TEXU, 1105, MILLENNIUM, CHOICE 37, Diggy, AiRPLAY, HAE, and more have joined to elevate the album’s level of perfection, with Song Min Ho, who self-wrote and produced all the songs, leading the way. 

 

The title track, ‘FIANCÉ’, is fitting for the album title, ‘XX’, which means there are no limits in the meaning, and the fact that Song Min Ho was involved in the creation of the track means that it is not your typical song, but rather an experimental one. A new kind of hip hop has been born with the sampling of ‘Soyang River Maiden,’ a 70s folk song that uses an electronic reed organ. 

 

Song Min Ho working actively with WINNER is a given, but alongside this, he established his presence as a solo artist through hit songs like ‘I’M HIM’, ‘FEAR’, and ‘OKEY DOKEY’.
